It was feared that storm Ciara would cause the flooding experienced in Silsden on Boxing Day 2015, but although there was very heavy rain and 50 mph winds the flooding did not materialise.
The fields by the river Aire did flood, but thankfully Silsden Beck stayed within its banks.
